Win for 11, 12 or 13 correct
How to Win
Soccer Supremo allows you to use your football knowledge to win great
prizes and show that you know what you are talking about when it comes
to Football. Simply predict the results of the best 13 matches in Europe
to win great prizes.
Then just sit back and see how good you really are. The television symbol
to the right of the match indicates a live TV game, so you can enjoy the
action live and see if your predictions were correct.
To help you we have the latest form guides - the last 6 home or away
results for each team. Simply place your cursor on the team and the form
will pop up.
How to play like an expert.
Firstly predict the results you are more certain about and tick the box
(Home Win, Draw or Away Win). Of the remaining matches, identify a result
which looks unlikely and tick the other two boxes. Finally, if you aren't
at all sure, tick all three boxes. Remember: the more boxes you tick,
the higher the cost but the greater the chance of winning!
How to win
Soccer Supremo is a pool game, where the prize money is pooled together
then shared between those who get the most correct. There are prizes for
getting 11 and 12 correct, with the jackpot going to the Soccer Supremo
who predicts all 13 matches correctly.
If NOBODY gets enough correct results, then the fun REALLY starts, because
that week's prize money gets rolled over to the next week. There can be
a rollover up to three times in a row, so we could be talking about an
amazing prize pot up for grabs. You don't have to check your results,
because we'll send you the results of the games by e-mail and tell you
when you win.
So play now and show us who is the real Soccer Supremo

B. GENERAL
The Laws of England and Wales apply to these Rules and to all games conducted
under them. All Entries or bets are binding in honour only and do not
create any legal relationship, right or duty.
These Rules govern the relations between Vernons and the Customer in Vernons

The Customer must ensure compliance with the Laws which may affect him/her
and must pay any tax or levy raised in any jurisdiction on any Winnings.
Vernons takes no responsibility for the legality of any of its games outside
the United Kingdom or the lawfulness of any Customer's participation therein.
In any Vernons game played on the Internet, via interactive television,
cable, satellite or other similar means of presentation, the server or

but only a conduit for Customer's Entries. Any server or service provider

wrongful or negligent acts or omissions.

telephone or computer equipment, howsoever arising as a result of any
Customer's participation in the Pool or downloading any information from
the Website.
2 APPLICATION OF THESE RULES
A. GENERAL
The Entry must be clear and capable of only one interpretation; if in
Vernons opinion an Entry is considered unclear then it is disqualified
from receiving any Winnings and Vernons will Refund the Customer.
Proof of posting, any electronic receipt or acceptance of remittance shall
not constitute proof of delivery or receipt of an Entry. The definitive
Entry is that held by Vernons or its agents for which purpose any service
provider is not included.
Eligibility for Winnings is determined by the number of accurate forecasts
of Home Wins, Away Wins or Draws in any one line of an Entry.
B. STAKES
The minimum Stake on each Entry shall be such sum as Vernons may fix from
time to time and notify to Customers in such manner as Vernons may decide.
Any Entry accompanied by a Stake less than the minimum Stake shall be
void unless Vernons exercises its discretion to admit the Entry and make
such adjustment as is considered appropriate to the Entry and/or to any
Winnings to which the Customer may be entitled.
If there are irregularities or claims for repayment on the Customer's
credit card, or if payment is refused for any reason, then Vernons has
unfettered discretion to void the Customer's bet or to accept it on such
terms as Vernons may determine.
In any written Entry, if the amount is not filled in on any column of
forecasts the minimum Stake will apply.
C. MAKING ENTRIES
Customers are not allowed by law to call at Vernons premises; written
Entries can only be submitted in sealed envelopes by prepaid post to Vernons
or where Vernons authorises, handed to a Collector (delivery to Vernons
being at the Customer's risk and it being the responsibility of the Customer
to identify the Collector and to arrange for the proper and timely delivery
of the Entry). The Collector is the agent of the Customer not Vernons.
Telephonically, electronically and digitally delivered Entries must be
in the form or manner acceptable to Vernons, and with Vernons prior approval
and on such terms as Vernons may from time to time specify.
All Entries must be received before the start of the Match Period. No
claim in respect of any late Entry will be entertained.
Payment of the full Stake must accompany all Entries. Cheques and postal
orders must be made payable to Vernons Pools Limited.
Vernons is not responsible for any cash sent by Customers until the amount
has been received and credited to the Customer's Entry; registered post
must be used for the sending of cash which remains at the Customer's risk
until applied as above.
If the Stake shall for any reason be more or less than the amount calculated
by Vernons, it has unfettered discretion to make any adjustment considered
appropriate to the Entry and/or to any Winnings to which the Customer
may be entitled.
Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery, nor will receipt
of a remittance be proof of receipt of an Entry.
Vernons is under no responsibility and accepts no liability of any kind
whatsoever for an Entry (however submitted) until it is received at Vernons
or its agent's premises.
Vernons reserves the right to record, for security purposes, any Entry
made by telephone and any such recording will remain the property of Vernons.
D. DISQUALIFIED ENTRIES
Vernons has an unfettered discretion to refuse to accept or to disqualify
an Entry but an Entry will be disqualified and no claim entertained by
Vernons where in its opinion:-
it is not accompanied by a Stake;
it does not reach Vernons in accordance with these Rules;
it is made by a person under sixteen years of age or such greater age
as Vernons may define from time to time;
it is made by or on behalf of an employee of Vernons, or anyone acting
in concert with such employee;
it is ambiguous, illegible or, if in writing, unsigned;
there is a breach of any of these Rules in relation to the Entry.
Any Stake accompanying a disqualified Entry will be Refunded.
Any Winnings paid on a Disqualified Entry shall be repaid forthwith to
Vernons.
3 DISPUTES
A. GENERAL
Any dispute that has not been resolved by Vernons may be referred by the
Customer to the Accountant who shall review such evidence as he deems
appropriate and whose decision shall be final and binding on all parties.
The Accountant shall have an unfettered discretion in reaching any decision
and shall not be obliged to give any reason or explanation.
Any special terms, conditions or instructions which post date these Rules
and which are notified to a Customer by advertisement or any other means
will override these Rules in the event of inconsistency.
All Entries, agreements, arrangements or transactions concerning Vernons
in any part of any of the games which it organises are not intended to
create or give rise to any legal relationship, right or duty or liability
of any kind whatsoever, but are and shall be binding in honour only.
If, in the opinion of Vernons, it is not reasonably practicable to complete
any one or more of the games because Vernons business has been affected
by :-
Fire, explosion, action of the elements, failure of machinery of any description,
congestion on the Internet or Website, damage or malfunction of telephone
or computer equipment by virus, tampering, hacking or unauthorised intervention,
industrial dispute whether inside or outside Vernons, interruption of
main services, civil disorder, Act of God or any event of similar nature
or effect then Vernons may exercise its absolute discretion to:-
declare any Pool or Pools void, and/or
declare that the number of dividends referred to under these Rules shall
be reduced (the amount of any dividend(s) not so paid being divided equally
between the other dividend(s) in the same pool) and/or
declare all Entries void when Stakes will be Refunded or, where possible,
applied to payment in part or in full of the Customer's next Entry(ies).
Any alteration of or addition to these Rules shall be notified by such
means as Vernons may select and may be via newspapers or presentation
on screen.
B. MATCHES NOT PLAYED AS PRINTED
When the Match is not started or is not played as printed then the Match
shall be considered a Postponed Match unless it takes place between the
teams printed wherever played, when the Match will stand as printed.
Extra time is not considered part of the Match and the score at the end
of normal time (90 minutes play) is the Result.
If the game is abandoned the score at the time of abandonment is the Result.
Where two teams are printed as alternatives on any Vernons Entry, this
shall be read as the single team who were not eliminated in a Match played
prior to the Match Period. Where the identity of that team has not been
determined before the Match Period, the Match shall be deemed Postponed.
Vernons may at its unfettered discretion (subject as provided below) declare
that in its opinion insufficient Matches listed in any Pool have been
played owing to postponements or cancellations and if Vernons so declares
then such Pool(s) will be void and Stakes paid will be Refunded or, where
possible, applied to the payment in full or in part of the Customer’s
next Entry/Entries.
If a Match is considered a Postponed Match then the Pools Panel will adjudicate.
4 DIVISION OF POOLS
Dividends inclusive of winning Stakes are declared in all Pools in units
from time to time and may be notified to Customers by whatever means Vernons
in its unfettered discretion shall select.
The Funds available to pay Winnings in each Pool shall be the aggregate
of the total amount of the Stakes in respect of Entries in the Pool less:-
Pool Betting Duty and/or any other taxes, duties or Statutory deductions
thereon, and
Such percentage thereof as may be determined by Vernons to cover commission,
and expenses sanctioned by the Statutory Accountant and additional winners
paid under Rule 4(5).
With a view to facilitating payment, the Winnings payable in respect of
any Entry staking the minimum permissible under these Rules may be increased
or decreased at Vernons discretion, by not more than the amount for the
time being specified under paragraph 14(1)(c) of the Act and the Winnings
payable in respect of bets staking more than the stated minimum shall
be increased or decreased by not more than a proportionally greater sum
than such amount.
If Vernons is of the opinion based upon such evidence as it shall require
that any dividend payable in respect of any Entry staking the minimum
permissible would be less than 10p, such dividend and any lower ranked
dividend(s) will be divided equally between the other dividend(s) in the
same Pool but if it is the first or only dividend, Vernons may in its
unfettered discretion pay such Winnings as it deems appropriate or void
the Pool in which case the Customer's Stake will be Refunded or, where
possible, applied to the payment in full or in part of the Customer's
next Entry/Entries.
If before the payment of a declared dividend other winners in the Pool
are discovered they will be included as winners and Vernons may at its
absolute discretion revise the dividends originally declared. If after
the payment of a declared dividend other winners are discovered subject
to Rule 5 hereof Vernons will pay them in accordance with paragraph 15
of Schedule 2 of the Act.
There will be three levels of dividend:-
First Dividend to be divided equally amongst winners who correctly forecast
all the Results.
Second dividend to be divided amongst winners who correctly forecast all
the Results except one.
Third dividend will be divided equally amongst winners who correctly forecast
all the Results except two.
The amount of each dividend shall be such that the proportion of Winnings
shared by winners at each dividend level shall be :-
First Dividend 60%
Second Dividend 20%
Third Dividend 20%
or such proportion as Vernons may select.
If there is no winner in a particular dividend for a particular Match
Period then the amount which would have been divided amongst the winners
shall be rolled over to the same dividend in the next Match Period and
so on to a maximum of three rollovers. If on the fourth Match Period there
are still no winners then the whole of the rolled over sum will be added
to the next lower dividend and if there are no winners in that dividend
then the rolled over sum will be passed down and shared equally amongst
all those Customers who forecast the next lower number of results correctly,
but if there are none such then between those Customers who have correctly
forecast the next again lower number of results correctly and so on until
a distribution is effected.
If Vernons, in the exercise of its unfettered discretion, decides that
an Entry which contravenes the minimum Stake requirement shall not be
disqualified, any Winnings payable in respect of any column of that Entry
shall be a proportion (to be determined by Vernons as appropriate to the
Stake received) of the amount which would have been payable upon such
Entry if it had complied with the minimum Stake requirement. The balance
of such amount shall be divided among the other winners if any at the
same dividend level.
If the application of Sub-paragraph (iv) above shall result in any dividend
not being completely divided among the winners of that dividend the part
not so divided shall be divided equally between the other dividends in
the Pool.
5 WINNINGS
Vernons will pay Winnings:-
to Customers who play digitally, electronically or via the Internet by
crediting the Customer's Vernons account;
in all other cases by cheque posted to the Customer's last known address.
The onus is on the Customer to satisfy Vernons of his\her entitlement
to any Winnings. If any Customer believes that he has not been credited
with Winnings to which he is entitled, a claim must be made in writing,
giving all appropriate information to Vernons Claims Department, Liverpool,
L68 1AA. Any claim made more than six calendar months after the Match
Date will not be accepted.
